Founders of ITE
Team ITE pay a huge thanks to our founders without them the idea of ITE was not possible. We are very thankful to their efforts in result of which we have obtained such a remarkable institution to develop more professionals in the field of tranportation.
Malik Hassan Nadeem
As a freshman and a sophomore in DTEM I always saw a gap between the academia and the industry which had to be removed so that the students would be able to grow and learn in an environment which was beyond the traditional setup of books. In order to achieve such environment, a platform was required which could act as a bridge between the industry and the academia.
ITE is an international organization for transportation engineers, which was not established in Pakistan at any level and i found it a great opportunity for us to grab, hence we contacted the organization of USA and after fulfilling their requirements the first ever Pakistani chapter of ITE was established. ITE was not created in a single day nor was it just the struggles of a single man. If i were alone i would not have been able to achieve much but all that was achieved was the result of the hard work of my co-founders of ITE. It was our unity and combined efforts which made ITE what it is today.
The purpose of ITE has always been to promote technicality in students and to promote technical knowledge and understanding in students. The purpose must always define the future as I believe, that means that i wish in the future ITE shall always work hard to bridge the gap between the industry and the students as well as creating a sense of honor and ownership towards the department and most importantly help our students to always be connected with the industry and what is happening out there in the real world. I wish best of luck to everyone who has been given this burdening task of not only continuing but furthering the legacy of ITE.
