ITE UET Inauguration Ceremony
On 18th December, 2015 an inauguration ceremony of ITE UET Student Chapter was held. The Chairman of Department of Transportation Engineering and Management, Dr. Ammad Hassan Khan, along with other faculty members, also showed his valuable presence at the event. The main purpose of the event was to acknowledge the establishment of ITE UET to the students and faculty members, and encourage the students to join ITE UET.
Guest of the Month 1.0
ITE UET organized its first technical event, Guest of the Month, on 9th March, 2016 in which Engineer Abdul Aziz, Director Projects in Pakistan Railway Advisory and Consultancy, was invited to give a short lecture to the students. The honorable Chairman of the department also showed his valuable presence along with other faculty members. The guest speaker explained the importance of railway engineering and highlighted many technical aspects of railway engineering.
Industrial Talk’16
The first Mega Event of ITE UET was organized on 29th April, 2016 named Industrial Talk’16. In this event, the scope of transportation engineering, future of transportation engineering and many other aspects related to transportation engineering were made clear by the professionals. At the end, the students had an interactive session with the professionals in which the queries of the students were answered. Respected Chairman and faculty members also showed their valuable presence at the event.

Guest of the Month 2.0
With the remarkable success of the first technical lecture, Guest of the Month, on 2nd May, 2016 ITE UET organized the second event of the same series with a new legendry guest, Dr. Asim Inam, Head Design Section of NHA (National Highway Authority). He shared his experiences about Highway Design & Construction Practice of Pakistan which was a source of useful information for the students. The guest speaker also explained about the4 design considerations and the major causes of rutting and fatigue of roads, and ways to overcome these issues. The respected Chairman and other faculty members also showed their valuable presence at the event. This was followed by a question answer session. The event proved to be very informative for the students.
Workshop on Geometric Design of Highways (by AutoCAD 2D & Civil 3D)
On 06 October, 2016, ITE UET organized a technical workshop on Geometric Design of Highways using AutoCAD 2D & Civil 3D. The instructor of this workshop was Engr. Usman Sheikh, Highway Design Engineer at Osmani & Company Pvt. It was a hands-on workshop and all the participants had access to the software. It was one of its kind workshop in which there were more than 200 participants including delegates from NUST, FAST, UOL, , UCP,USA, GCT Rasool and many other universities. This workshop proved to be very beneficial for the participants technically.

Transportation Professional Association
ITE UET Student Chapter successfully launches its 'Transportation Professionals Association' to link up with transportation professionals working in different organizations throughout the world.
The sole purpose of this wing is to bridge the gap between academia and industry. This association aims to connect the transportation professionals with one another and also with the undergraduate students. This Association is going to provide a common platform to the transportation professionals to share their experiences, thoughts and ideas.
So if you are a transportation professional or graduate of DTEM, working in any organization, at any designation, you need to fill this online application form.

Workshop on SIDRA INTERSECTION 5.1
ITE UET, organized one day workshop on SIDRA INTERSECTION 5.1. A software which vastly used for intersection design. This workshop held on 9 March, 2017 under the supervision of our guest Muhammad Kamran. Who is serving as Traffic Engineer at Transport Planning Unit.

One day software training on "PTV-VISSIM " Another remarkable learning opportunity for all with insatiable thirst of Traffic Engineering knowledge. This workshop held on 18 April, 2017 under the supervision of our guest Muhammad Waqar Aslam. Who is serving as Traffic Engineer at TEPA, LDA.
